Since I know there are a lot of new bloggers like I was I wanted to share some great information with you to help learn how to increase blog traffic. Lets face it if your writing good stuff but no one is looking at it then what is the point? Thats why I came up with this great video series. that will be broken down into 3 different videos to show you 21 ways how to increase blog traffic. In the first series today we focused on some key things that you have to put in place in order to establish more blog traffic to inlcude: 1. Identify who your audience is going to be that you want to target. This is important because you want to the right people reading your content that will be likely to share what you blog about. 2. Identify where you audience hangs out and where they are most likely to look at your blog. This is very easy because for most your audience is going to be online. 3. Write your blog so it is SEO friendly. Search Engine Optimization is one of the least utilized ways to optimize activity yet over 3 Billion people search Google annually. 4. Use Social Media to get traffic to your blog. Social media is a great way to get traffic to your blog. Most blog sites will have ways for you to connect Facebook, Twitter, Google + and another one that is really growing is Pinterest. These are great places to meet new people who connect with you and your content. 5. Analyze your blog so you know where your traffic is coming from. A real simple way to do this is Google Analytics. This will allow you to track your articles and see where your traffic is coming from. 6. Words are important but images are what attract people to your content. Create good images that attract people to you. Think of images that would get peoples attention. There are lots of great images through Google Images or you can get creative and make your own. 7. Do good KEY WORD RESEARCH! Remember you want to attract the right people to you.
