The 17 year old, who has ran sparingly this season due to injury, spoke about being extra motivated to prove a point to doubters, who have been touting the Kingston College pair of Akeem Bloomfield and Jhevaughn Matherson to upstage him at the upcoming ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships. The former Class 3 double sprint record holder (Matherson broke both records last year), who now holds the fastest time by any local junior athlete this season, also spoke about the state of the injury.
