(36/90) a lot of marketers would get resentful that the person joined someone else or they get disappointed, there is actually still an opportunity for you to pick up something here rather than just end the conversation abruptly. ask them questions that are market research type questions, this is really good to do especially if you are new in the company and want to know exactly WHY people join your opportunity... - Was it a particular leader they wanted to sign up with? - Do they want the marketing training your team have? - Does your product fit well into your lifestyle and they want to make money recommending it to friends? a lot of people join for a lot of different reasons, but here you can take note of what these are then USE them again to talk to prospects in the future. I don't recommend spending a LOT of time talking to people in the same business as you, obviously branching out more will mean this happens less and less for you!
