#DNSUnlocker removal completely (DNS Unlocker removal Method 2)


Chic TherapyChic Therapy3  I had this issue for more than a year, and just finally resolved it this weekend. I had watched this tutorial a while back but it did not get rid of the DNS locker crap. Then yesterday, I came across a comment in a forum that finally helped. 
This is what helped: I followed this youtube tutorial all the way to #10 (in the description box) , After checking "Choose Obtain DNS server address automatically", click "advanced" that is just right below in that same pop up box, and then select the tab "DNS". You might see an IP # that has some numbers 888... (or any other number). Highlight those numbers and click "remove" down below in the same pop up box. Go to your chrome browser settings and reset. I hope this helps someone, as this is what finally worked for me

In the browser address bar go to chrome://net-internals/#dns, and click on the Clear Host Cache button.
